Know the warning signs
Is your suspension asking for attention?
A worn shock or strut can affect more than comfort. These symptoms can point to weakened ride control—but tires, steering parts, brakes, wheel bearings, or alignment can produce similar concerns.
Excessive bouncing
The vehicle continues moving after a bump or dip.
Nose-diving or body roll
The body shifts noticeably during braking or turns.
Clunks or rattles
Noises appear over bumps or during steering movement.
Visible fluid leakage
Oil is actively leaking from a shock or strut body.
Cupped tire wear
Uneven scalloped wear may indicate poor suspension control.
Not sure what is causing the symptom? Tell us what the vehicle is doing. We’ll determine whether a separate diagnostic evaluation is needed before replacement is quoted.

What the $1,099.99 starting package includes

Mobile service done thoughtfully
How OilDash approaches suspension work
Suspension symptoms can overlap, and not every vehicle or location is suitable for mobile replacement. We confirm the repair—not just the part name—before scheduling.
Inspection comes first
Noise, pulling, vibration, and uneven wear can come from tires, bearings, steering parts, brakes, or alignment. The recommendation should match the evidence.
Loaded assemblies when appropriate
A loaded strut combines the strut, spring, and related upper components. When available for the application, it avoids disassembling a highly compressed spring at the worksite.
Worksite suitability matters
The vehicle needs a reasonably level, stable location with enough clearance for safe lifting and repair. Vehicle condition and manufacturer procedures also determine mobile eligibility.

Straight answers
Shocks and struts FAQ
The exact answer depends on your vehicle’s suspension design, condition, and parts availability.
Shocks or struts?
Many vehicles use front struts with rear shocks. Others use four struts, shocks, or coil-over assemblies. We verify the exact layout before quoting.
What does four-corner mean?
Paired service across the front and rear. It does not mean every vehicle has four struts.
Can it be done on location?
Often, yes—when the vehicle, parts, weather, and worksite allow safe mobile lifting and repair.
Have a noise but do not know the cause? Describe when it happens and any other symptoms. We may recommend a diagnostic evaluation before quoting replacement.
